Unofficial Replacement High Level Base (Temporary)

'Ello, everyone.


I have NO authority here, I'm not a member of the elder council. However, with the recent changes made to the old high level base (I have some posts and pictures in the "Mobilization" thread in News and Announcements), I believe that we need a temporary base.


Prototype mentioned that a new base will be searched for. But in the meantime, we need a temporary base close to where we are searching. Therefore, I mentioned the use of "Protection", the outpost founded by Jack Gillow. His thread can be found stickied in the General Discussion of the DF forums.


Anyhow. We can use this as a temporary base while we search for a new base in the vicinity. It is VERY close to the old FF high level base, around 4-5 blocks to the south, and here is a link to it's location.

There is a reliable safespot if you stand on the south side of the bottom most row of horizontal sinks.

First of all... i discovered that spot and told everyone in the clan about it

He said he would give 500 credits if you gave him locations with that kind of bug... and - with all my innocence and stupidity - I told him about it

Then I got it in the butt
He said that someone "told him about it before me" which was of course a BIG FAT LIE. I didn't get any credits and then.. BOOM




Got pretty kicked in the ass with that move.
Now I don't have any safe location to go to when I'm looting at Death Row.
More than ever... it's the time of my Chipz to do the scout  and find a new home in the DR hell itself

*facepalm* Our base didn't even qualify for the requirements of the competition, Meat =\...

He wanted restaurants or hotels which ONLY had a foyer, or only a top floor for the hotels. We just had a safespot. lol

It was my little piece of heaven there never used it to grind. the idea of TS was never on my mind til' modem showed up XD

Cheddar, that's Protection, I believe. I always used to use it, and people went "EW NO GILLOW MADE THAT ONE"

But it is a very nice base, is it not? It's sexy, like Proto.

I found a Brass House in reds we can use. It's not high-level, but you only have to board up the door and a window next to it.
