LoL im in the same bout as modem, I really only go on to keep in touch anymore. especially since Neil is seemingly working on a new MMO I highly doubt DF will receive anymore attention unless its to fix something or throw in another corpse weapon.

I bet it won't be in its own unique niche, if it is, it will probably be awful.

Honestly I don's see how hes going to do well sitting there working on something by himself yet again, that would presume hes going to make some great game and suck people in and they will sit there and wait till hes done doing whatever hes going to do.

All in all a lot of things could happen, good or bad, and we just wont know until we know more about what hes working on.

From a business standpoint, he has a good thing going with DF, I don't understand why he's doing this when he could be improving the game that already has a massive fan base.

DF and whatever other projects he has are technically his toys. He can do whatever. But I agree with you Modem, I think we all question his methods from time to time. He is still making money though, so one really can't complain.

Oh I dont know, the playerbase could complain about a lot of things that need fixing or should be implemented, and neil could complain that he isn't making more money, but thats because hes not keeping with DF and updating it and fixing ****.
