Subject-0221 "Crazy Hobo" discussion

Seeing as how it's a bit annoying to using this forum only for the shoutbox, I decided to atleast start a discussion for this thing I'm writing right now.

Got any questinos for it, go ahead to ask them, I'll answer them shortly.

Some information about this thing, that I will reveal right now:

1) I am writing this up entirely on the move. Nothing was planned in advance, like I usually do. Entirely spontaneous. Reason: I got bored of waiting for an inspiration to come to me so that I could write, only for it to vanish in a day or two, so I decided to just write through force. While it isn't anything special, I am pleased with the quantity I am producing at the moment.
2) 0221 are the last four digits on my ID number
3) Johnson and his squad was entirely thought up on the move
4) The idea of Hobo being monitored also.

Pretty much, all of this was made on the move, without planning.

I'm personally interested in how Hobo's story will continue >_>

This may help jump start some activity.

Today's English lesson: While "on the move" may make some sense, it's probably not the terminology you should use. Something like "this was all improvised, no planning" or "it was written spur of the moment" Also, you wrote "questinos" by accident.

As for the story, I'll help with grammar and stuff there, later. All I can really say is good job and give you English tips =P

You're welcome my friend XD that's completely understandable. What is it like for you to think in English? I can't imagine.

It's not difficult. When you're fluent in a language, you start thinking in it. Not that problematic.

The real difficulty is when you only start learning a language, because you can't think in it yet, so you're supposed to think in a language you know, translate it in mind and only then say. It's time consuming and with a lot of mistakes

Definitely. We've been learning Spanish for years, and the teachers suck, so I'm nowhere near the level of being able to think in the language. I really don't see when I'm going to need to use it, but whatever.

There are only three reasons to learn a language fluently:
1) You plan to abandon your home country for something better, which requires a different language
2) You want to become a translator
3) Bilinguality is sexy.

I do it for all three reason

Because English is the sexiest language with all of it's terrible spellings. Just kidding haha, English is cool. If I had a choice Spanish would not be my first for a second language.

I'm actually thinking of learning Spanish, because it's also a world language, with roughly one billion people speaking it.

English is a beautiful language, especially for simple talk. The emotional charachter words carry are deep and I love reading novels in English more then in Russian.

They are just richer in atmosphere.

Russian is a logical language. Retardedly complex, but still logical. So words don't carry much emotions in them.

But at the same time, the best poetry is in Russian, due to it having a non-fixed stress on the syllables, which leads to infinite variety in rhymes and rhytm.

But you won't understand any of it, until you've learned a langauge or two

I know four languages: English, Russian, Estonian and some German. I also know how to read in French and Italian. I've spent a lot of time comparing them to each other and came only to the following:
1) Best novels are in English
2) Best poetry is in Russian
3) Best singing is in Italian (though you can't sing death metal or other metal in Italian, which I am a **** fan of)
4)French...I don't know about you guys, but when I hear French, I get the impression, that the person is trying to say something in English, but has a dick in his mouth....
 This means, that girls speaking French are ****-a sexy!!! But guys speaking French sound retardedly gay >_>
5) German....is ****!!!!! The only language more **** then German is Norwegian (BECAUSE THEY"RE STILL VIKINGS THERE!!!), but I never learnt Norwegian, so I don't know anything about it.
6) The the most useless language I know of...Estonian. Like I said, it's utterly useless and pathetic. It's very young, so it does not have an analogue to many words in the older languages, which leads to poorly accepted foreign words, that sound wrong. The young Estonian speak in a slang, that resembles Estonian grammar with USA slang terms in it....it sounds retarded.
 It's also a language, that was spoken only by mindless peasants (which all Estonians were up until the second half of the 19th century). I listen into the language and I can hear, how it's a village dialect spoken. It sounds unsophisticated and blant.
Structurally, it's a good language to sing in, but the village taste makes it possible to sing only folk music.....which no one listens to.
