Chapter 6- Revelation


The two men awake in the middle of the night to find that William is missing. Wondering where he has gone they begin searching for him hoping he had not gone too far or suffered some terrible fate alone.

They search for hours and have nearly given up on looking for him when Albel sees a large circular shadow on the ground. Knowing it is not his or Igor’s he immediately realizes that it means one of two things…or possibly both. All he knew for sure was that something was right above them moving back and forth slowly.

He pulls out his black Cz75, his arm blurring slightly, and aims directly above. Igor becomes aware of the situation when he barely catches a glimpse of a silver glare out of the corner of his eye, most likely the word ‘Ruin’ which was etched in silver letters down the barrel of Albel’s gun.

Igor pulls out his .45 ACP and both men are now pointing they’re guns straight upward towards a chandelier above them realizing that it was the object creating the shadow.

Upon observing the rusted object for a moment Albel notices that there is a dark figure sitting on it. After examining the figure more closely he realizes it is William.

Albel gets Igor’s attention and points upward. “Igor, Williams up there!”

Igor takes a closer look. “It looks like him…are you sure?

“Aye, of course I’m sure, that little plebe has been up there all along! He says as the two men lower their guns.

“Albel, what the hell is he doing up there?”

“It looks like he’s meditating…”

Igor smiles. “Looks like he may be special after all…should we join him?”
Albel flashes a more sinister smile bact at Igor. “Nah…I got a better idea.”

Igor shakes his head and shrugs. “I can only imagine brother…”

Just as Igor finishes his sentence Albel shouts up in William’s direction. “Hey kid! Get down here! Time to wake up!”

William’s eyes open and flash crimson for a moment then turn green as he dives downward. As he approaches the ground floor he extends both arms and uses the power of the impact to propel himself into a frontward flip, landing on his feet face to face with Albel.

Igor readies his pistol and points it at William thinking that he was performing an act of aggression towards Albel. “Need any help brother?”

Albel studies William’s eyes noticing that they are green instead of his normal blue eyes. “No, It’s fine…something’s off. If the situation gets out of control I’ll handle him myself. Albel puts his pale hand on the hilt of one his dual black katanas to reassure Igor of his intentions.

Albel studies the dark green eyes as he speaks to the man that he thought he had read so well. “Who are you?”

The man takes one step backward and extends his hand for a handshake. “Glad you noticed.”

Albel shakes his hand while remaining weary of any sign that the situation could get out of control. “Aye, you haven’t been… “yourself” for the past few minutes…Now are we going to get an introduction or what?”

The man shrugs his shoulders. “Who do you think I am?”

Albel pauses to think for a moment then answers sarcastically. “I have no idea…Ms. Fairy princess?

The mans facial expression turns more serious. “Can Ms. Fairy princess do this?” A copy of the man appears behind Albel with a knife to his throat.

Albel is caught somewhat by surprise but remains calm so Igor knows not to go blowing the man’s head off quite yet. “Aye, she probably could, however that is rather impressive…but you left an opening! Albel Shoots the man in front of him with his Cz75 in his free hand but nothing happens.

The man behind him speaks. “No I didn’t, I was hoping you would do that…”

The man in front fades like he was never there leaving only the man behind Albel.

The man lowers his knife. “…So I could show you what I can do.”

Albel turns around to face the man. “So you have special abilities like ours?”

The man smiles. “Now your catching on.”

“What About William?” Asks Albel as the man folds his arms across his chest.

“He has not woken up yet.” Says the man.

“So who are you?” Asks Albel anticipating an answer this time.

“Nathan.” Just as the name is revealed His eyes flash crimson again and Albel catches the body as it collapses and notices the eyes become blue once again before closing

Igor is intrigued. “Nathan? He has more than one personality?”

Albel looks up at Igor. “Apparently so mate, the kids like a walking Twilight Zone…”

The two men become quiet as they patiently wait for William to “Wake Up”.
