Chapter 5- Carnage

The trio heads down the street while more pedestrians run past them in the opposite direction while screaming. They continue down this road until they come to a building that looks recently abandoned. They look around the area outside and see that it is clear of both enemies and pedestrians alike. After looking up at the sky the trio decides to save time by cutting through the building to the other side.

Only a few moments after entering Albel immediately uses his infrared vision to scan the area for enemies. “We are not alone….”

Igor looks around and sees only shadows moving around menacingly. “I sense their heartbeats.”

"Aye, these are not like the usual enemies we have faced. Be ready to fight.” Says Albel as he readies his dual straight black katanas.

William brushes the hair away from his face as he opens one of his suit cases and pulls out his own dual swords that were hidden under a secret compartment.

Igor also readies his weapon as well which is a large rapier. Just as he does a creature come out of the shadows and catches him off guard and knocks him down. Albel quickly reacts and quickly charges at the spiked black creature.

“Cleanse. Purge. KILL!” Albel takes one of his blades and quickly impales the creature pinning it up against the wall then takes the other blade and cuts its head off. After he removes the blade pinning the creature to the wall he takes pleasure in watching its lifeless body slump down to the floor as a smile of insanity comes across his face.

As Igor is getting up another creature with blades for hands swings at Igor he sees it out of the corner of his eye and ducks just in time. As he gets up he pulls a silver dagger out his right shoe.

“I don’t know when you grew a pair of balls, but I’m definitely going to castrate you now.” he turns around quickly and cuts the creatures eyes out. As the creature shrieks in pain he grabs its head and twists it until it pops off its neck, then proceeds to cut the rest of its limbs off. He stares down at his foes mangled corpse smiling.

As both men turn around to celebrate their victory they see another creature dive from a floor above down towards William. Neither of them is close enough to help and just look up towards the free falling creature with shocked expressions on their faces, but the man just stood there calmly and says. “I know…. It’s his funeral.”

Just moments before the creature’s blades can scratch the top of his head he quickly raises one of his swords up towards the ceiling and the creature lands right on top of it impaling itself. William takes the sword the creature is pinned on while it is struggling and proceeds to pin it against a nearby wall in a similar fashion to what Albel did, takes his other blade, and thrusts it into the creatures heart. When he twists the blade and pulls it out the heart comes with it. The creature watches it’s still beating heart for a moment until it stops beating and it dies.

William throws down the heart and turns to face Igor and Albel. “Shall we take a break now?”

The two gentlemen approach the bloody young man while clapping their hands.

"Nice kill kid." says the blonde haired one.

"Aye, I didn't think he had it in him." Says the dark haired one.

William takes a bow. "I'll take that as a "yes"."
