Cleaning

The forum will be undergoing maintenance as things progress forward. SMF2 is a little buggy on our forum, and I will be working to iron out some of those bugs, and to restore the forum to a similar and familiar home for us to the one that we used to have.

A lone figure is seen, wandering through the night. It came so swiftly, so completely... We had no time, none at all. The emblem of a wolf flanking a powerful dragon could be seen on his chest plate. Dead... They're all dead... Every last **** one of them... all gone. Suddenly, a small girl approaches the man. Hesitantly, she hands him an old shabby book... bearing the emblem of a dragon.
"Little girl, where did you get this?" He inquired, stunned.
"My grandfather, he left it for me, in an old trunk... Were you one of his friends?" The man begins to cry, falling to his knees.
"Yes... yes I was." He thinks back to that fateful night, when all went to hell.

"Hold em' back! Keep firing!" A group of soldiers, clad in ebony armor, attempt to hold off a much larger group of mismatched enemies.

Members of the many clans who formed an empire, to eliminate a threat which they did not understand. They were successful, successful in killing many. They did not fell an empire, but a family... A family of those who fought to take back our world, to live a better life.
The man, regaining his composure, thanks the girl. Turning toward the sunset, he begins a long journey, whose destination may only be reached through death. The man died that day, not in body, but in spirit. That man's name... was Carter "TRHeadshot" Gison.
