Tails tries to get sonic to get it because he isn't fast enough, which pisses sonic off. Instead of trying to get the ring, sonic decides to try and kill tails >.<

Tails cant get the ring because there is a paradox that prevents him from getting there Tails tells sonic they both run forever in a perpetual loop in time that sounds like a good story right?
