They just have to put as much effort in it as possible. Also, Dusk didn't just die for that reason. It also died because we had no stern leaderships, and people stopped caring about it over all. All our leaders disband the clan and that is why Dusk died. Those trials don't even look that hard. Lvling once when level 15 takes like one extermination mission. Posted by: CrazyHobo« on: August 18, 2010, 11:42:47 pm »I also agree with Jarki, that this kind of trial system would be good for the higher ranks.
Like Jarki said, this isnt Dusk. I strongly reccomend you have the new rooks do something easier and have the higher ranks to do the Path. Why? Let me put it this way: having the rooks do the Path makes the new FF another Dusk clan. And what happened to Dusk? It died. Why? Because people go through horrific odds and endure the craziest tasks, only to then have nothing else to do afterwards. BD wont babysit FF, but that doesnt mean, that our opinion should be ignored. Pretty much, you don't have to pass anything persay, you simply have to show your skills over a certain threshhold, if I'm remembering correctly.

I mean how much time people have to play should be taken into consideration. with access to a gau you can go from lvl 1 to 40 in a week or less just by doing OA.
take the gau out of the equation and just supplement by going into the city, so whats 10 levels in a week? unless you are pretty high level then it shouldn't be an issue. ill pm you an idea stp Posted by: R. S. Packman« on: August 16, 2010, 06:53:18 pm »I personally like the way it is set up, in the three categories, but I think we should work out some actual challenges before making this go live. That was just a basis. None of that was set in stone, and was just used as a reference. The only thing that "might" be hard for some people is the pvp bit the rest is something newbs should aspire to do and even then should be pretty simple. this should all be harder, and the actual challenges should actually take some **** effort. all this.... I don't know wether to laugh or cry to be honest. when I restarted FF it was harder and we didnt even have OA and **** like that, come on step it up Posted by: R. S. For looting, something like this: Levels 15-20: Earn $15,000 within a week. (X amount of days) Levels 25-30: Earn $30,000 within a week. (X amount of days) Levels 35-40: Earn $50,000 within a week. (X amount of days) Possibly have 5%-10% donated to the clan. Leveling: Levels 15-20: Gain one (1) - two (2) levels in one week Levels 25-30: Gain 50,000 (?) experience in one week. Levels 35-40: Gain 100,000 (?) experience in one week. PvP: Levels 15-20: Kill three players in one week. (X amount of days) Levels 25-30: Kill five players in one week. (X amount of days) Levels 35-40: Kill seven players in one week. (X amount of days) Stuff like that. Not insanely hard, and very much within the realm of possibility. Also, maybe a 2/3 law could be worked up allowing potential members to join if they complete two of the three tasks. Some people, like me, just aren't strong in PvP. Others may be better in PvP and Grinding than in looting, and so forth. Posted by: STP« on: August 16, 2010, 03:44:29 am »The thing about the path is that there is no standard that they must hit, they are being judged on their performance based on their peers completing the path with them. So the difficulty level is only high for say a player that does not try, where as a player that is actually trying finds ease in the tasks. One other thing that is to be revised is that the path is to be done in groups or "packs". Packs would be based on two things, level and if the player has a Gold Membership or not. That way a level 15 regular member will not be paired with a level 39 Gold Member.

The Path of Fenrir will probably be the most important trial during your membership to the Fenrir's Fangs for the sole reason that it determines whether or not you will be inducted into the clan as a full member. All of your skills in the world of Dead Frontier will be pitted against those of your fellow wolves. Tasks involving Looting, Leveling, as well as PvP will be given to you, over a course of one week for each task. Looting Looting will be the first appointed task. In order to obtain anything in the game you must do one of two things, buy it or loot it from the city. The game revolves around the ability to loot and make money. This task will not only give us an idea of who is more than able to complete the task but it will also hone your ability to loot in the city, thus making you a better, more wealthy player in the game. This will be monitored by the amount of net wealth you have gained. Your starting amount of cash will be noted. The players with the highest amount of cash gain will be the winners of this round. The only time an item will be counted towards your net earnings will be if you screen shot the time of loot. Leveling Leveling will be the second task to be completed on the path. To be feared you must be powerful. In game you gain power by leveling. For one entire week all we want to see are the wolves constantly gaining experience. Your initial amount of experience will be noted and the members with the greatest experience gain will be the winners. Player vs. Player Player vs. Player is an essential part of clan life, for what is a clan without membership who can rip the opposition to shreds. For one weeks time We would like for you to kill players like you never have before. You must screen shot every kill for them to be counted. Post them in this thread and every one will be tallied. by the end of the week the winners will be determined. At the end of this three week trial, we will not only know who is worthy of advancement but you as players will be stronger, richer and more knowledgeable of the game itself. Teamwork is encouraged however always remember that you are judged individually. Good Luck wolves, may Fenrir oversee your progress. [TRHeadshot: Elder Council- Hunter: This system is pending approval by Ancient Ryan, I, personally, approve] |
