"Hmm...if we can get through this window, then we should be close to the infarmary. Suit up, we're moving out in 10"

James, having reported in on the success of his mission, and handing in the doccument he found on the corpse of the dead Fairview Guard captain, made his was up to the Wolf's Den.

Pushing through the rusted old door above which still hung the sign for the bar, he made his way through the small crowd of people in the bar, enjoying their time off, or doing other things, most of them moved aside for James, his rank and personality scaring most of them.

Getting to the bar, he simply said to the barman.

"Beer."

The barman gave him a beer with a grinn, the guy was pretty damn old and James used to wonder how long he had actually been here, eventually, he gave up caring, walking away from the bar, he left a small trail of blood which was still dripping from the sheath of his Black machete.

He made his way past a few of what would pass for his "Friends" People who insisted on talking with him and trying to get him to smile or laugh, always without success, though he disliked actually speaking to anyone, these were the few people in James's life he would ever trust, people who had always been there for him, whether he wanted it or not.

Walking past Edward, Sabrina and Vlad, he gave a quick, cold nod, from anyone else, this wouldn't be much, but from James, this was about as good as it got in terms of recognition.

Making his way to his usual table, which was isolated in a dark corner away from everyone, he sat down and light a ciggarette and opened his beer, he had a feeling this was going to be a long day.

"Vlad, I have a silencer for everything. The battle is in here-" She tapped the book, "- with building blueprints. As long as they havn't renovated it too much we should have no problem getting in, hopefully with minimal enemy contact."

James frowned slightly, he had accidently splashed some blood onto his trenchcoat, calmly, James inserted the black machete back into it's sheath, it made a slurping sound from the wet blood still covering it, he would have to clean it later, he withdrew a mouldy packet of ciggarettes from his pocket and light one up.

James was standing in the middle of six dead Fairview guards, each sporting the standard green armor Neil issued them, they had all died before a single shot was fired, all of them carried backpacks full of munitions and explosives, James had already piled them up and set C4 on a timer underneath, none of it would survive.

His bored eyes swept across the gruesome scene once more as he took a satisfying puff from the ciggarette, it was only then he noticed that the Captain of the group of Fairview Guards was clutching a piece of paper in a death grip, James strolled closer and pried it loose.

As he read the paper, he frowned again, throwing away the half smoked ciggarette, he moved off swiftly back into the shadows, he needed to get back to the den quickly, after several blocks, a large explosion erupted, signaling the completion of James's mission.

"Sabrina, you got a silencer for that rifle? Ed, mind not shooting, only cutting on the mission? People, remember: we can't rise a large suspicion now or Nastya's will send more troops to reinforce the area. We can't afford that now, the time for war has not yet come. The nearest barracks is at South Lerwillburry. It's the old warehouse, in which a battle between FF and AD took place, which FF won. We need to get in there undetected, steal the supplies and get back to base. Any suggestions on how to get in?"

(( I appoligize for how bad this post is... i was having trouble with the text box as i was making my post... ))

Deep with in the sundered city of Fairview, a man was looking out over the ruins of the once proud city that had been turned up side down and plunged into a shadowed nightmare.  The man looked solemly out over the waste.  He sighs softly, allowing himself a breif moment to remember how life had been before the outbreak, how... perfect his life once was.  The spread of the unde.ad infection had taken everything form this man, his home, his friends, his faith and even his love.  Ashley.  He could still see her face when he closed his eyes, he could still hear her melodic voice ringing in his ear.  Oh how he misses her.  That woman was once his entire life, her passing had shaken the preist to his core, a harsh blow that had shaken even his unwavering faith.

The man turns his attention to a distent city street, from his perch on the roof of the Clear View Appartments, he could see most of the city ruins, including the house in which he and his beloved use to live.  It was in that very building he was forced to take that which meant most to him.  A single tear runs down the mans cheek as the memory creeps in agian, a memory he had tried to keep at bay for weeks on end...

He could see her face clearly, the day he killed her.  God she was beautiful, even in her finnal moments.  The man closes his eyes tightly, clenching his jaw tightly as he tries to shake the memories form his head.  He did what he had to. She was infected and if he had not killed her, she would have killed him.  The man clenches his hands tightly into fists. Damn them. Damn all the infected! He will see them burn, every single one of them.  He knew what he had to do, he would change from a simple preist to a weapon of devine justice.  The priest no longer cared if he lived or died, in truth the best part of him was already dead.  It died the day his bullet peirced the heart of his wife.  All that was left to him was faith. Faith, and vengence.

The man rolls his shoulders, pulling himself out of his thoughts.  The sun was setting on the ruined city, it was almost killing time and he knew he needed to be sharp.  He loads a new clip into his pistol before shoving it back in its holster and reaches for his machette.  The blade was warn, sporting tell tale signs of usage.   As shadow falls on the city, Kalemi leaves his safe haven and decends into another night of fighting for survival in this hell on earth.

Entering the bar, blood dripping from his right arm, Edward approaches the table.

"As is mine," he takes a seat by the group, and drags it over. "My bladed weapons make for excellent stealth items..." he grins slyly.

"Same outcome as always, Vladimir." Sabrina followed him to the bar, where they took a seat at their regular table with Ann. She ordered a shot of whiskey, the usual... the same usual her grandfather ordered. She pulled out the tattered journal that acted like her bible and her deep blue eyes scanned her favorite bar story; Viktor and Mel wasted, dancing on top of the bar... unlike other agents of the DUSK she loved to look back at history. "Learn from the past to prepare for the future" she always said.

Sabrina listened to the mission Vlad's lover had given him. She closed the book and threw her ponytail back over her shoulder, then walked up to him. "Sounds like you need stealth for this one. That's my specialty."

After exchanging greetings with Sabrina, Vlad makes his way upstairs to pick up a new mission.

After passing through a tonn of people, grinning to them in return, Vlad makes his way to the top, where the missions are located.
Only to find out, that this was the last mission he had for the day.

Painfully disappointed, Vlad goes to the top of the building towards the bar.

The old label "Wolf's den" was still hanging there, albeit rusty.

Aproaching the bar table, Vlad asks the barman to give him some mineral water and a fried chicken.
Sitting himself at the table, Vlad begins to lunge at his dinner, when suddenly, a woman in a white lab coat aproaches the russian. Long black hair, lovely blue eyes, well built. Just like daddy used to love em :P

Noticing her, Vlad replies "My love, what are you doing up here?"
She gave out a small smile and sayed "My name is Ann, not Love, ya twat" sayed the girl with a giggle.
(Ann - my scientist alt crazyreseller :P )
"Anything important or you want sexual attention?"
"Har har har. Anyways, I've been having difficulties with producing morphine lately. And you can't do your doctoring mirracles without morphine. I need supplies for them, which can be found in Fairview militia barracks and Faierview civilian hospitals."
"Raid a couple of med. posts? You know those places are always well guarded. Fill out a request ticket in the Notice Board for my name, I can then assemble a squad. It'll be easier for me."
"Fine. Just get those done quickly"

Taking a bite from the chicken, the lady leaves.

Hmm...nearest fairview barracks are in the outskirts. Taking them out will cause increased suspicion in Nastya's, so it's best done quietly.
Finishing his dinner, the russian takes a look through the window to get a better look at the city.

"Hey you!"

The man was shaken out of his stupor by the small patrol of Fairview Guards standing, only 15 feet, in front of him. Simply ignoring their presence, he continued on his way, as he draws nearer to the patrol however...

"I said-"

~Schliiiing~

The unfortunate soul drops his gaze to the man's arm, and slowly realizes how unfortunate he really is. For, attached to the man's arm was a hand, tightly gripping a bladed revolver, deep within his ribcage.

~Bang~

The soon-to-be-dead man gasps, blood trickles from his mouth, the soldier behind him clutches his side, falling to the ground.

Removing his weapon from the corpse, he continues onward. He scratches a line into the arm guard of his suit, one of many. Gazing longingly at the sun, he travels through the near silent city, and eventually come upon a very large, heavily fortified, building.

He passes a man burning a paper, pausing only for a split second as he passes the man, a slight grin appears upon his face. Heading up the stairs he passes many faces, he smiles at them all, much to their surprise. Entering his room, he picks up a folder.

Inside are pictures and files. New targets. Placing a replacement bullet into the cylinder, he replaces his Fang in its holster.

"It seems that the time has come again..." he sighs, and heads back to the first floor... maybe he'll be able to chat up one of his comrades before embarking on a new assignment. It had been a few days since he had enjoyed any human contact.

He lightly touches the inscription on his armor.. there are four lines of writing:

The first: states simply- DUSK-REAPER

The Second: Fenrir's Fangs, a testament to the past

The Third: Edward G. Munson

The Forth, and Final: TRHeadshot

((Gona stick with "James" for my descendent's name, I don't like anything else. >.>

Also, I'll do something about advancing the story in the next post, this one is dedicated all to me. ^_^))

James moved swiftly but almost silently through the hallway's of the Dusk HQ, the only sound that could be heard was the slight flapping of his Black leather Trenchcoat and the soft clicking type sound that his .50 calliber revolver made as is shook in it's holster, the same features that always adorned his face were present, the bored look in his cold, grey eyes, the unsmiling thin lips, the unkept hair that hung just over his eyes.

James had worked his way up the ranks of Dusk through sheer determination and unwavering loyalty, he assumed his heratige had probably helped some, though he hated to admit it to himself, he never cared much for trivial things like familly or friends, he cared even less for stories of the past, he would coldly brush people off as they tried to show him the very few pictures that existed of his father, he just did not care.

He swung the door open on a seventh floor room, this room was currently in use to track the movements of Fairview Guard patrolls and troop movements, this was where Agent's went to gather intel after they recieved a mission, the Engines and Settler's in the room stood to attention as he entered, James didn't bother agknowledging then, he meerly picked up a folder on the table with his name on it and walked out again, people were used to this by now, James would never talk to anyone unless he needed to, and even then it was short, and to the point, the man did go to the bar still in operation on the top floor, frequently, but he always drank alone.

The folder contained details on the mission he was to carry out, apparently there was a squad of Fairview guards transporting weapons and ammunition very close to their territory, James was in charge of eliminating them and destroying the cargo, Dusk didn't need it but they didn't want them to have it either.

James was supposed to take along a squad of his own of his choosing, but, although the man was an exeptionally skilled tactical commander, he preferred to work alone whenever he could, he didn't like dealing with other people.

He made his way downstairs and out the steel door, coldly ignoring everyone on the way as he read the remainder of the file, when he reached the outside, he took his lighter from his pocket, burned the doccument and scattered the ashes, there would be no paper trail, he then light a ciggarette from his seemingly infinite supply and dissapeared into the semi darkness.

Aproaching the Dusk HQ, Vlad stands there for a while to take a look at it.

The good old 12 story of the previous Death Row.
The massive building had been standing here for what, 100 years now?
It aint a miracle, that it's still standing: Dusk agents renovated it, so it's young and frehs now.
The building has been the house of Fenrir's Fangs and to a number of Black Dragon agents 60 years ago, now it's the Dusk base.
Heavy machine guns turrets and sniper nests are on the upper floors.
Lights flourishing inside the building. That would be a miracle 60 years ago, now it's normal.

After the Reaper with the balaclava aproaches Vlad, they continue their march towards the base.
Making it to the door, Vlad stands still once more to take a glance to his left: a lovely lady with an MP5 in her hands and an HK MSG-9 on her back is aproaching the base.

Waiting for her to come closer, Vlad says with a slightly gentle tone "Had a good hunt, princess?".

Heavy footsteps could be heard as an officer of the Empire runs madly down a Fairview street. He runs with purpose, not away from an enemy, but towards an ally. He knows something, something that could change the course of history.

Phut.

The officer then falls, as blood starts to soak his uniform. He looks down at this fatal wound, then falls.

"I got him." Sabrina Donahue talks into her headset. This hunt is over.
"zst- Good work. Get back to base before they start to search the area. Over. -zst" She gets up from the prone position, slings the silenced HK MSG-9 and pulls an HK MP5, also silenced, from her backpack. Jumping down from the fire escape she used as her latest sniper nest, she runs back to the direction of the command center of DUSK.

"Grah...I need to spill some blood..." - sayed with a russian accent a young man.
Wearing his black trench coat, the man aproahces a group of Fairview Guards, who are armed with batons.

One of the guards says "Vlad, you look pissed off. Something wrong?"
"Yes...your alive, that's what"

Then Vlad pulls out his massive dark blade, which is called the Dusk Razor.
Slicing off the guard's head, the others look in awe, as Vlad has just near instantly killed their comrade.
Pulling out their batons and riot shields, the 4 remaining guards charge Vlad, only for him to jump behind them and stab one in the head, the other slicing in the stomach.
The two remaining guards attempt to run away, after Vlad yells out a wild wolf howl.
Vlad cathces up and ends the life of one of the fools.
The last guard is killed by a bullet from a sniper rifle.

A man, with a skull balaclava on his face with a VSS in hands aproaches Vlad.
"You could have left me more..." - sayed the man with the rifle.
"Sorry...but it's just not how I work" - sayed the russian with a slightly sadistic and cold voice.
"We should head back to base"
"Whatever"

*Ziiiiiiip*
*Scuffling sounds*
*A sound of metal clinking against metal*
*Metal sliding into leather*

I holster my weapons, my trusty Fenrir's Fang, the DUSK's Embrace, and the Twins... the Black Dragon. They start my memories, and those of my ancestors... 60 years ago. There had been peace, which, while it lasted, was as if the curtain of darkness, which had fallen over Fairview, was removed. A new DAWN...

Oh course, however, in this new world... peace is but a temporary reprieve from the cold, harsh reality that is life in the "post-outbreak" world. The infection was gone, mostly. The two mighty behemoth clans, now lay undisturbed in history's vast memories.

   .....Forgotten.....

I open the door to my room, and I am blinded by the light. Bracing myself, I steele my grip upon my weapons, and venture onwards....

   .....The new DUSK.....
   .....is Rising.....
