Cleaning

The forum will be undergoing maintenance as things progress forward. SMF2 is a little buggy on our forum, and I will be working to iron out some of those bugs, and to restore the forum to a similar and familiar home for us to the one that we used to have.

Long ago, before the outbreak, Man built a Wall around Himself. A Wall made of cultures, beliefs, morals, and combined thought. However, this Wall constricted Man. Over time, a Gate was created. Made by Man’s achievements, it was placed on this Wall in order to hold back the Monstrosities which lay outside of Man’s Conscious while at the same time allowing Man to venture out briefly before returning to safety of His Wall. As Man grew braver, He ventured out further and further. By doing this, His mind was able to expand, thus, Man was able to achieve greater things. The gate grew as time moved on. Man’s Pride refused to let Him stop. Each addition proved His superiority over the universe. A flash of Divinity…Immortality, inspired Man to Create once more. With the laying of the Nerotonin-4 virus atop the swaying monolith, the Ancient Gate collapsed. The pieces fell apart and struck Creation with the force of splitting atoms. Only a small part of Man was able to live on after the sky rained with fire, yet He managed to survive the collapse of His Gate. But even the strongest part of Man was not ready to face what now lay ahead. For now the Monstrosities that had been held back since Man was first Created crept forward.

The impending blackness in the sky from the fall of the Ancient Gate gave Man no quarter. The Creator Himself had turned His back on Man while His Angels of Death committed their sinless murders. Man had no choice but to merge with the Rage of Fenrir and the Spirit of Draconis. For these Monstrosities gave Him strength, and the Willpower to live on. From this fusion, something greater than the combination of sums have emerged.

We will endure throughout Time.

We will thrive in the Darkness.

We will conquer back Creation.

The sun has set over Man for the final time… And only the Dusk remains.

Dusk Alignment

We are considered evil in our actions by many. Yet, we only do what is necessary to better ourselves and our clan while disregarding others. The fact that we do not see some of our actions as evil can be considered one of the greatest evils of all. By combining the Rage of Fenrir and the Spirit of Draconis, we have achieved a state of Order that is surrounded by a perpetual Chaos. Different classes of Dusk will operate throughout the spectrum of Order and Chaos to best suit their tasks.

Classes of Dusk

Draconis Agents: Responsible for the entire functioning of dusk

Fenrir Agents: Responsible for individual roles as well as promoting/insuring a positive dusk image is being made by all dusk members, must be very active and inspire others to follow their example both in clan issues and the game itself.

Reapers: The assassins of Dusk. Only the most feared of players may be a Reaper.

Engine: Responsible solely for developing themselves and providing their services to Dusk

Settler: New members of Dusk.

Zeros: Inactives or members awaiting promotions.

Clan Requirements/Applicants

Level 40+
Either 100 skill weapon(nonmelee) OR dusk equipment
A mix of lvl 90 and 80 weapons may also be used if the build is powerful
Armor must be of high quality based off strength
If you act stupid you will not be accepted

A Fenrir's account of the creation of Dusk(Jin)

Behind the curtain of darkness a common light is seen by a chosen few. They watched their city burn, and those fires light the beginning chapter of their fates. With the infection spreading like wild fire, a different flame found a home in their hearts. Something called to them from in the city, drawing them to their fates, The core of death it self, the center of the apocalyptic city. Hundreds drudged through the battle fields in the infinitely darkened skies.

There is no more dawn, only the Dusk.

The unsounding call to arms pulled people in through the decadent city. Hundreds dwindle to dozens as the task of reaching the unknown destination proves too hard for the weak.

Over the rubble of the tarnish city a garish warehouse glowed with a dark, powerful Aura as the few surviving men and women found this place as they stood at the edge of death, and their fates. After entering they were not rewarded a Utopia or felicitous luxuries. They were rewarded with unknown materials, tools and their lives.

As they reach a great hall in their curious journey of this unknown warehouse a man walks out of the darkness. With out fear they halt and stand at attention to his presence. He stood taller than all and held an image of omniscience.
These people now knew they're fates were that of an apprenticeship, but why now? Why in this time of turmoil? What time is there?

In this place time slowed down and a millennium of knowledge accrued with this sentient existence.

The man’s eyes opened and a great light shot forth consuming all darkness, releasing all the fear, and anger of the world. In this light, not only was horror displayed, but the knowledge of destruction was passed on to these apprentices, No, not apprentices. With the darkness brought to light none of them were novices to hurt, in a matter of minutes they were death themselves.
They were the virtuous death dealer's unfathomable to simple mortal minds.

They became soldiers in the dark.
Guardians of the Dusk.

With the dissipation of the light, they reawakened as sentients in the darkness of a world devoid of pure light. The knowledge of the mysterious being taught them how to defend the earth against the creatures created by the human race.

They stood in the great workshop, and peered out the window as the smoke billowed out of schools, homes, forests. The river outside no longer was a source of water; it was a path for the blood of thousands to travel on its way to the mouths of starving beasts.

A small group of the newly adorned warriors went to the waiting work stations and folded these dark materials, forged barrels for their guns and intertwined ashes of the dead in to the grips of their weapons. The greatest thing they crafted was not a weapon or murder, but a ware of protection.
The armor of the Dusk warriors. The weapons intertwined the material remembrance of the fallen, but the armor retained the spiritual essence of the fallen.
