Police Report Detective Samuel Jones 20090818 Ladder City Police Department The victim, Ashley Daniels, was found dead at the scene upon arrival. The father of the victim called at 0328 on the morning of 08/18. The parents had heard a noise coming from the victims room and went to investigate. When they arrived in her room, the victim was found dead with a violent gash across her throat. Despite the brutal nature of the death, very little blood was found both around and in the victim. Upon further investigation, there was found to be no tampering of the room, no signs of struggle, and no evidence of an intruder. Both the window sill and doorknob contained only prints from the family and showed no signs of wiping. It is this detective's opinion that this case is related to the five other murder cases that have occured in the past six months as well as the missing cases of over 20 people. The victim matches the description of the other victims, ages 15-25 and female, and the style of the murder is the same, death due to blood loss through a traumatic wound with no signs of struggle. |
