The forum will be undergoing maintenance as things progress forward. SMF2 is a little buggy on our forum, and I will be working to iron out some of those bugs, and to restore the forum to a similar and familiar home for us to the one that we used to have.

Text Based RPG's are basically an RP mixed with a game, hence Role Playing Game
Basic Rules that don't need to be followed if the RPG god deems then unnessecary(it is assumed though if not mentioned)
1. Don't control other characters EVER. Only the RPG god can do so and only for the updates
2. Don't control the environment. IE NPC's, enemies, items, puzzles. Don't create the environment in other words. The RPG god does all this. You only post your response/action to the environment
3. One post per update. If conversing with another player, you may post more but be sure to only post one action. when conversing, only post your dialouge, and wait for the other player to respond.
4. Everything will be kept as real as possible
5. grammer rules will be the same as the RP rules
6. anymore ill post here
RPG's for those that don't know. Are RP's except you have an RPG god who has preset a layout/basic story line. He will provide the environment for you, and your character responds to the environment.
Example
RPG god
"There is a small room with a bed, desk with one drawer, and a chair."
The character can then respond.
"Douchecooky checks the desk drawer for anything useful then goes to lay down in the bed"
the RPG god will then say if anything is in the desk, as well as what happens when the character lays down on the bed
I'll make a RPG shortly(and it will be short, the two i've done before both lasted over a year a piece)
this will be just to show you guys the basics of it
more in a bit
